BHC East Oakland Group
The Building Healthy Communities Group of East Oakland is composed of local grantees, partners, and community members and aims to improve the health of East Oakland so that children are healthy, safe and ready to learn. If you are new to the Building Healthy Communities effort in East Oakland, this is a great place to start.
East Oakland Steering Committee
The 15-member EOBHC Steering Committee has been seated! The group is a dynamic set of residents and representatives of community based, faith based, and policy organizations. East Oakland will be represented well by this fierce collection of leaders. Click here to read their biographies.
The Steering Committee meets the fourth Thursday of each month from 5 to 7pm at the Eastmont Town Center. In order to best inform next steps, members have been busy orienting themselves to the EOBHC local and statewide work, as well as familiarizing themselves with the work done in the initial phases of the initiative (from 2008 – 2010).

The CalConnect Help and Improvement Group is here to help you maximize your effectiveness using the site and provide assistance with any feature or section. We will post video step by step tutorials as well as help documentation which will always be available from this group's dockets. We encourage you to contact us if you have a recommendation to help improve your site, workflow, or experience. This group has an open membership, so feel free to join if you want to be keep plugged into new developments.
